I am a professional practitioner in Quantity Surveying, Dispute resolution, Cost and Claim Management, Contract Law and Administration having over 23 years of hands on experience in the construction industry, out of which 16 years as a Cost/Claims specialist. Currently, I’m working as a freelance contract administrator and offering consultation to many Contractor/Employer organizations. I appeared as a Legal Counsel and/or party representative to Litigation practices, Arbitration practices, Dispute Adjudication practices to the organisations who seeks my service and able to achieve landmark decisions/awards/orders favourable to my clientele as against the other Party. I was graduated from University of Salford, UK and completed Master of Laws (LL.M) in international business specialised in finance with merit pass awarded by Cardiff Metropolitan University, UK. Further, I holds Diploma in Commercial Arbitration from ICLP Arbitration Center, Sri Lanka. As a multi-disciplinary professional in the Built Environment, I deserved MRICS, MCIArb, FCMI, MAIQS, AIQS(SL), MCIHT, MAPM & GMICE and entitled to use those post nominal letters from international and local professional bodies. With that I’m more conversant with subject matter of dispute resolution; technically as well as practically. During the period of 23 years, I have worked with JCT, FIDIC & ICTAD forms of contracts funded by various donors, including ADB, JICA and World Bank.
